Question 1-) Thank you for accepting our invitation. First of all, could you please introduce yourself ?

I’m Jackson Mohr, CEO & Co-Founder of PolkaWar. Graduating from the National University of Singapore in 2002, I have many years of experience in the field of 2d & 3d Game programming.

Knowing the cryptocurrency market in 2016 as an investor, I have a lot of experience in the field of investment and management
In addition, I have more than 5 years of experience in the field of Blockchain programming.

Question 2-) Could you give brief information about what #PolkaWar is ? What does he aim to do and solve in this sector ?

PolkaWar is a decentralized fighting game platform on the blockchain network. Inspired by the NFT subfield, PolkaWar will create a vivid fighting game world. Players will build character systems with weapons and equipment with different levels, to engage in combat with other players; participate in quests in the game as well as buy and sell items in the marketplace.

Our goal is to create a game platform that combines entertainment and income for gamers. We want to contribute something in the field of blockchain games, bring value to the NFT ecosystem in general and investors in particular.

Question 3-) What are your main features that distinguish you from other projects and what competitive advantages do you have ? How will you get a bigger share of the market ?

Jackson Mohr | CEO of PolkaWar: The current statistics show that less than 20% projects are related to gaming with most projects having mere concepts and no working products.

We realize that the NFTs combined with gaming will be the catalyst required for mainstream adoption and will contribute to the development of the general nascent NFT market, in the coming years

We create a completely different game platform, a game with high real combat, not just as simple as other NFT gaming
The market share in the field of NFT gaming is still very potential, but there are not many projects to exploit. We think that as long as you do your product well, the worthy results will come. All you need to do is put a lot of effort into developing your project, fulfilling the set goals.

Question 4-) Can you talk about tokens ? What are the benefits for investors in holding tokens ? What are the usage areas ?

Jackson Mohr | CEO of PolkaWar: Skin-in-game is an indispensable part to generate income for investors. PWAR token holders can participate in Staking; Farming; Purchase items, weapons, equipment to participate in the game; vote for the development activities of the project…

Almost projects , as long as the project thrives and attracts many players, the project’s token value will increase.

Question 5-) As it is known, strong investors and partners in the crypto market have always provided good benefits to new projects. At this point, can you tell us about the investors and partners of your project ? What benefits do you expect from these partners and investors ?

Jackson Mohr | CEO of PolkaWar: Currently, our project has raised 400k$ from 3 strategic partners: PolkaBridge, ChinaPolka and BMW Capital..

Our strategic partners are all big projects with strong communities and relationships. So they can help us not only financially, but also in terms of marketing, team development, market expansion.

We will continue to cooperate with many other partners to support the long-term development of the project, ensure that PolkaWar will accomplish its goals.

Question 6-) Finally, can you give us some information about your roadmap and how #PolkaWar has progressed so far ? What awaits us in the future ?

Our goal is to create a fighting game on the blockchain platform
At the first time, we will build the game and NFT marketplace on Binance Smart Chain

We will also release MVP on this month and run airdrop program. When user participate airdrop , they will receive PWAR token and one NFT item (Level 1 weapon or equipment).

In Q3, we will release testnet of the game and marketplace. Of course, testnet will run on Binance Smart Chain. It’s good blockchain with low fee and fast speed.

In Q4, we will run mainnet of the game and marketplace. And we will also develop the game on Casper network.

Furthermore, we will build PolkaWar Logictis module. When join PolkaWar, users can own their in-game items copy in the real world too. All NFT items on the market can be converted to physical items. Example: You have a sword (NFT item) level 1 and you want to own that sword at your home. You just need to send the request to the PolkaWar Logistics system. PolkaWar team will process and deliver it to you at the required address.

With the potential of the NFT market, we believe the project will achieve great success.

Where does the latest technology your project uses come from ? Are you afraid that one day your project’s technology will be obsoleted by other projects’ technology if that happens, how will you solve it ?

Jackson Mohr | CEO of PolkaWar: PolkaWar project is a gaming project, using many modern technologies.

Frontend, we use ReactJs, Nodejs to build the UI , and also use many graphical design tools to design high quality game items.

Backend, we use Smart Contract on Binance Smart Chain (ERC20, ERC721 protocol), IPFS file, MongoDB, Unity engine …

I think technology is only one part of the project, it is not the deciding factor at all. For a project to be successful and go a long way, it depends on many other factors such as leadership vision, human resources, finance, relationships…

As long as you ensure the harmony between the elements, your project will be successful.

Marketing is important for project success. What is the marketing vision of Your project ? What are your goals ?

Jackson Mohr | CEO of PolkaWar: Marketing is an important and necessary element of every project, especially at the early stages of a project.

we have good staff so this should not be a problem either.
To expand the market and introduce project to more people , we will regularly attend AMAs, meetings, online and offline events…

In the near future we also carry out advertising campaigns through KOLs, airdrop , giveaways campaign. I think those are effective approaches at first

Of course, in the long run, you need to build a product,follow the roadmap, not just focus on marketing . Like i said As long as you ensure the harmony between the elements, your project will be successful.

Stage 3 (Live questions of community members, our guest’s answers)

Live Question 1-) Polkawar will launch a game on Casper Blockchain this Q4 2021, so why choose to launch in Casper Blockchain ? What advantages did you see from them in this collaboration and to users and gamers of Polkawar? Aside from Casper,which other Blockchain you wish to launch a game ?

Jackson Mohr | CEO of PolkaWar: Casper network is a new blockchain platform that has many advantages and differences compared to the rest of the competitors. It inherits the good aspects of the Ethereum blockchain and improves on its weaknesses, such as the problem of almost zero transaction fees and very fast speeds, using POS.
Moreover we wanted to try something new, especially the Casper ecosystem is small, so we decided to aim to Casper. I believe that if PolkaWar successfully builds on Casper NetWork, it will be a very significant breakthrough for us.
Next time, we will coordinate with the Casper team to conduct construction. Of course, the first step is still to run on Binance smart chain first
Others, we will also aim to build PolkaWar Marketplace on other blockchain like Ethreum, PolkaDot, Matic …
Of course, it will take a long time to develop.

Live Question 2-) How do we get a character or other item in the game ? will Polkawar give prizes to the players ? if so, what are the requirements so that we can get the prize ?

Jackson Mohr | CEO of PolkaWar: At the beginning, when the player logs in by connect their wallet , the system will automatically initialize the character at level 0 (warrior, magician, archer)

These are 3 types of characters in PolkaWar
They are at level 0
During the game, players can do missions to get rewards such as upgrade stones, PWAR tokens, experience ….
And players can buy stones to upgrade their equipment and weapons…
There are 2 fighting scenario : 1v1 and team vs team
When you reach the level or complete the mission , you will also get the rewards.

Live Question 3-) Does your project support staking program ? if so, how is your stake system work, what is the requirement and minimum amount ? If they want to stake in your platform ?

Jackson Mohr | CEO of PolkaWar: Yes of course.

Our project is game combined with Defi. So, staking and farming is an necessary module. When participating in staking, players will receive tokens and stones to upgrade items and equipment. No minimum amount require.
